Two more queries out, one more rejection in, making me 0-7. The agents...well, I don't really know how to score them.
The three fawns and one doe traipsing adorably through my rainy backyard nearly alleviated the sting of the aforementioned rejection. Nearly.
I will say, the rejection was different this time around. I think it was partially the fact that this particular agency only looks for a query letter, and no partial manuscript, meaning they didn't take a look at my work. That alleviates the sting more than a little bit. However, the sensation that this is becoming a trend is not an exciting one.
